I started this business because I LOVE TO FISH. I grew up in this area, fished here my entire life and spent countless hours searching Mobile Bay, Orange Beach, Dauphin Island, Gulf Shores and other areas for the “sweet spot” where the biggest fish can be found. I know the best kind of bait to use for each species, and what species bites when.

For instance, during the hottest part of the summer, (i.e. Noon during July) fish will head toward deeper water, and bite best at dawn and dusk. I’ll take you to places where you can catch speckled trout, flounder, redfish, King Mackerel, Pompano, flounder, etc. You stand a better chance catching a “trophy” species (wall hanger) pre-dawn or pre-dusk. You can catch fish all day long, but certain times of day provide “optimal fishing” conditions. 

Underdog Fishing Charters uses only high-quality gear so that your time will be spent catching fish, not dealing with equipment and tackle. Once the boat pulls back into the dock, and photos taken (if requested), I'll clean and de-bone all fish. “Wall Hangers” or trophy fish will receive special handling.
